Falu Prison Youth Hostel, Falun
Directions: Falu Prison Hostel is located centrally in Falun. It is a walking distance of about 7 minutes to Falun's central square (Stora Torget) at Kristine Kyrka. And in addition, the distance is only a 15 minutes walk to Lugnets sport- och activity facilities. The nature here is very beautiful and with an endless number of wonderful trails and nice barbecue areas.
If you’re traveling by foot we recommend that you pass Fängelsebacken, from the road Promenaden, which passes along the prison wall.
By car, from the E16, you can take the turn towards Centrum at Scandic Hotell, onto Svärdsjögatan. Follow Svärdsjögatan and turn right onto Vasagatan at the Prison hostel sign. Vasagatan changes its name to Villavägen after about 300 m. The Prison will be on your left, Villavägen 17.
If you arrive at Falun by train, you can walk the road that runs parallel to the road Promenaden. When it changes its name to Daljunkaregatan, turn right up Fängelsebacken until you arrive at Villavägen and can see the prison on your left, Villavägen 17.
