Do you want to experience the impressive locks of the Telemark Canal without spending the whole day? Then this is the perfect trip for you!
Start with the canal boat from Ulefoss locks to Lunde. The boat sails into the heart of the canal landscape. On your way you will pass two locks, where Vrangfoss is one of them. Vrangfoss is the largest lock with 5 chambers.

The package includes canal boat from Lunde lock to Ulefoss locks, and then the canal bus from Ulefoss back to Lunde train station.

Travel Route:

- Kl. 12.05 attendance at Ulefoss locks bus stop, about 100 meters from the locks.
- Kl. 12.22 departure with the canal bus from Ulefoss locks bus stop.
- Kl. 12.50 arrival at Lunde lock.
- Kl. 13.20 departure with M/S Victoria or M/S Henrik Ibsen from Lunde lock.
- Kl. 15.20 arrival at Ulefoss locks.

You can also do this trip the opposite way, by starting in Ulefoss at kl. 10.35 in the morning with the canal boat to Lunde, and bus back.

Practical information on board:

Parking:
Your car can be parked at the parking lot at Ulefoss locks free of charge. While driving from Ulefoss center, the parking lot is reached about 200 meters before the locks. It is marked with a parking sign (a large “P”) and the symbol for the Telemark Canal (a boat in a lock). There is a short walking distance to the bus stop, about 100 meters.

Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board. You can order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking. It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey.

Rate:
Adults from 16 years: From NOK 810,- to NOK 860,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: NOK 340,- per child.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
